Now, I know I'm not the most technical guy on the planet, but I do have a basic understanding of technology and its ways. I can install most anything, and configure most other things when it comes to basic web stuff.
then I came across MediaWiki software. For those of you who don't know, MediaWiki is one of the most used pieces Wiki software on the planet. It's supposed to be highly customizable, and easy for everyone to use.
What they dont tell you is that managing the Software, more specifically, the users and groups and everything else, HAS to be done by direct editing of the software's php files. There's no Administrator Control Panel to do this one, nothing that lets you quickly and easily handle configuration issues, or make simple changes quickly.
